The Myanmar Literature Project
The Myanmar Literacy Project is an attempt to collect an archive of documents, images, videos, articles, personal accounts, and creative work to create a trove of resources for journalists, academics, and researchers. We recognize that Myanmar's situation is tenuous, and its people all but forgotten on the world stage. Despite this, its citizens continue to rail against an oppressive junta that stole power and dismantled the first [unstable] democracy the country had since its inception.
As the situation unfolds, Myanmar's efforts, the culture of its many sub-groups, and the communications during this period of excessive instability are in danger of being lost to time. We strongly believe in preserving what we can and hope that our work will inspire or help others. This project is maintained by Jeremy Jusek and Dr. Jared Ward.
